Harish Madnani, MD comes to EliteCare Health Centers from a very strong senior-focused background. Dr. Madnani earned his Medical Degree in 1978 from SMS Medical College in Jaipur, India. Dr. Madnani completed his surgical internship at Flushing Hospital & Medical Center in Flushing, New York. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey, where he was awarded the position of Chief Resident during his final year of training. He was responsible for directly supervising several junior residents and interns. Prior to coming to Florida in the summer of 2011, Dr. Harish Madnani was Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director of his own Internal Medicine Practice for 27 years in Mississippi, plus he was the Medical Director for two Long Term Care facilities. While practicing in Mississippi from 1984 until 2011, Dr. Madnani was very active in various organizations. He served on the Council of Medical Education for the Mississippi State Medical Association. He has also served as President of his Medical School Alumni Association, while in his presidency he worked diligently to open a Special Care Unit for burn victims in Jaipur, India.

Dr. Harish Madnani's passionate and caring attitude led him to organize and motivate volunteer services and medical care in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Dr. Madnani's caring personality is evident in everything he does. He moved to Florida with his wife to be closer to their son while he attended USF in Tampa. Dr. Madnani thoroughly enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also finds comfort and strength in reading, music, and looks forward to his traveling time and quiet walks with his wife.
